Vishal Hospitalised After Sudden Collapse on Public Stage
Prominent Tamil film actor Vishal collapsed unexpectedly during a public event and was immediately rushed to the hospital. The incident occurred in Villupuram district, Tamil Nadu, during a cultural event where Vishal was present as the chief guest.
The event took place in Koovagam village, known for its famous Koothandavar Temple and the annual Chithirai (Tamil month) festival. As part of the celebrations, a beauty pageant titled "Miss Koovagam 2025" was conducted on Sunday night for the transgender community. Actor Vishal was invited as the chief guest for the occasion.
While the programme was underway, Vishal suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed on stage, causing panic among the attendees. The organisers and fans responded swiftly, providing him with first aid on the spot. He regained consciousness shortly after.
Former state minister Ponmudi, who was also present at the event, facilitated Vishal's immediate transfer to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.
There has been growing concern among fans regarding Vishal’s health in recent times. During promotional events for his recent film Madha Gaja Raja, Vishal appeared fatigued, sparking speculation about his wellbeing. However, Vishal’s team had previously dismissed these concerns, stating that he had been suffering from a severe fever, which explained his worn-out appearance.
This latest incident has once again raised questions about Vishal’s health, with fans expressing their hope for his swift recovery.
