Amidst Controversy with Kohli, Old Video of Rahul Vaidya Kissing Anushka Sharma's Hand Goes Viral

Renowned singer Rahul Vaidya has found himself at the center of a heated online dispute with fans of Indian cricket star Virat Kohli. The controversy escalated after Rahul Vaidya made satirical remarks regarding Virat Kohli's Instagram activity, drawing strong reactions from social media users. Adding further fuel to the fire, an old video of Rahul Vaidya with actress Anushka Sharma recently resurfaced online, intensifying the discussion.

The issue began when Virat Kohli mistakenly liked an Instagram post by actress Avneet Kaur. He later clarified that it was an error caused by an “Instagram algorithm glitch.” Responding in his signature sarcastic tone, Rahul Vaidya remarked, “Everyone knows that Virat Kohli has blocked me on Instagram. Perhaps that too was due to a technical glitch. I don’t think he did it deliberately. Maybe the Instagram algorithm told Kohli, ‘I’ll block Rahul Vaidya for you.’ Makes sense, right?” This comment by Rahul Vaidya went viral on social media.

Fan Backlash

While some netizens laughed at Rahul Vaidya’s remarks, Virat Kohli’s fans reacted with outrage, trolling the singer across various platforms. Rahul Vaidya did not remain silent in the face of this backlash and issued a pointed response through his Instagram story. “Virat Kohli’s fans are bigger jokers than Virat himself,” he said. In another story, he expressed distress over his family members being dragged into the controversy. “It’s fine if you insult me, but now you’re targeting my wife and sister, who have nothing to do with this! That’s exactly why I called you all ‘two-paisa jokers’—and I stand by it one hundred percent,” he stated.

Old Video Goes Viral

Amidst this ongoing row, an old video from a past event featuring Rahul Vaidya singing on stage to Anushka Sharma and kissing her hand has gone viral on social media. The clip has sparked a wave of memes and jokes from online users. Referring back to Rahul Vaidya’s previous statement about being blocked by Kohli, some netizens jokingly suggested that the singer may have been blocked because of this old video with Anushka Sharma. Regardless of the reason, the online war of words between Rahul Vaidya and Virat Kohli’s fans continues to escalate across social platforms.
