The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party, led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, announced its foray into Maharashtra politics and dared the BJP-Shiva Sena alliance to implement Telangana's model of development for farmers and Dalits. The BRS will contest from every seat in the upcoming local body elections in Maharashtra, and KCR called on farmers and BRS cadre to show their strength in the Panchayat Raj and Zilla Parishad elections. CM KCR challenged Maharashtra's government to implement Telangana's policies, such as 24-hour free power and water supply to farmers, financial assistance of Rs.10,000 per acre, and insurance coverage of Rs.5 lakh, among others. KCR stated that parties and politicians had benefited, but the public and farmers had not, and this was not a political meeting but a brainstorming session to understand what was wrong and where. During his speech, K Chandrashekhar Rao highlighted the importance of farmer's welfare and called for the implementation of Telangana's successful policies in Maharashtra. K
