The national capital has been rocked by controversy following the appearance of numerous objectionable posters featuring derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Reports indicate that over 100 First Information Reports (FIRs) have been registered, and six individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the matter. Allegedly, some areas of Delhi were adorned with posters carrying the caption "Modi Hatao Desh Bachao" (Remove Modi, Save the Nation). The Delhi Police have taken swift action, registering over 100 FIRs and apprehending six suspects in relation to the distribution of these objectionable posters. However, the posters themselves did not mention the printing press or publisher responsible for their creation. As such, the FIRs have been registered in various districts throughout the city, under the Printing Press Act and Defacement of Property Act.
