He expressed disappointment that leaders in India primarily concentrate on politics instead of the economy and noted that the focus is often on winning elections, rather than ensuring a better future for the next generation. Minister K Taraka Rama Rao spoke at the NHRD "Decode The Future- The National Conference" and pointed out that India's status as the world's largest democracy, with continuous elections, only perpetuates the preoccupation with politics.
