Government Chief Whip Karanam Dharmasree announced that the administration will relocate to Visakhapatnam starting from the Ugadi festival. On the same day, the Chief Minister is expected to officially declare Visakhapatnam as the new capital. Dharmasree stated that the CM has the necessary facilities and infrastructure to run the administration from Visakhapatnam. YSRCP MLAs Kodali Nani and Perni Nani echoed the statement, with Kodali Nani expressing confidence in a favorable Supreme Court verdict. Gudivada MLA added that even if the verdict does not go in their favor, they will push for a three-capital bill to be introduced in Parliament. Perni Nani emphasized the government's aim of decentralization through the establishment of three capitals.
