The Speaker of the AP Assembly, Tammineni Sitaram, and Minister Bugganna Rajendranath Reddy declared that wherever the Chief Minister resides, that is the capital of the state. Tammineni Sitaram praised CM Jagan's decision to make Visakhapatnam the state capital and said it has brought happiness to the people, especially the youth of Uttarandhra. Minister Bugganna Rajendranath agreed with the Speaker's statement and emphasized that wherever the CM or head of the state is, that becomes the center of administration. He pointed out that the constitution does not specify a separate term for the capital. In his view, wherever the CM and PM reside, that is their office.
