In a move that highlights the growing divide between Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chanrashekhar Rao, the latter did not attend the Republic Day event at the Raj Bhavan on Thursday. Instead, KCR held a separate ceremony at the Pragathi Bhavan, where he hoisted the Tricolour in the presence of several ministers and officials. When asked about the absence of state government representatives at the event hosted by her, Governor Tamilisai said, "Everything is visible." According to media reports, only the Chief Secretary and DGP attended the Governor's invite, with the CM and his ministers choosing not to attend.
