Actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has responded to the controversy surrounding his recent remarks about late actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. During a tour of his Hindupuram constituency, Balakrishna told the media that his comments were made in the heat of the moment and that he holds the late actor in high regard, referring to him as "babai" (uncle). He also stated that Akkineni Nageswara Rao treated him with more love than his own children. Balakrishna went on to say that he considers both late NTR and late ANR as the two eyes of Tollywood. Balakrishna has made it clear that he does not pay attention to unnecessary speculation and rumors, and his love and respect for late Akkineni Nageswara Rao remains unchanged.
