In anticipation of the by-elections, the Telangana Munugode BJP candidate Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy claimed that both the Union Minister Kishan Reddy and state unit party president Bandi Sanjay have focused on the Munugode constituency. Mr. Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy disproved the claims that senior leaders aren't helping him campaign for election in an interview with iDream Nagaraju. In response to a query, the BJP candidate for Munugode claimed that TRS leaders had been attempting to buy voters with money. He asserted that his party's representatives had canvassed the constituency by knocking on residents' doors. In response to a query, Mr. Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy claimed that the opposition party has the support of the people while the government is abusing its power in every way. In response to a different query regarding the purported "Operation Lotus" event, the BJP candidate denied that any of the party's leaders were involved and alleged that it was a creation of Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar
