After becoming the first British Prime Minister of Indian descent on Tuesday, Mr. Sunak, 42, attended a Diwali reception at 10 Downing Street on Wednesday night. Sunak, the country's first prime minister of Indian descent, entered office on Tuesday with a promise to correct the mistakes done by his predecessor Liz Truss. After seeing King Charles III at Buckingham Palace, he was appointed the next prime minister of the United Kingdom.
