Hyderabad: Telangana CM KCR lands in controversy after he allegedly ordered the officials to bring Palapitta (Indian Roller) to Pragathi Bhavan on the occasion of the Dasara festival. It is known that the people of Telangana believe that spotting Palapitta on the Dasara festival day brings good fortune. In the viral pics, CM KCR and his family members were reportedly seen praying Palapitta which was in a cage at Pragathi Bhavan brought by the officials. Animal lovers are expressing anger after CM's move and officials who brought the state bird in a cage. It is said that it is an offence as per the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
