Farmers in Amaravati continue to demonstrate against the state government's plan to create three capitals and what they claim is its exploitation of the Amaravati people unfairly. A NRI gave the Amaravati Farmers Mahapadayatra a donation of 25 lakh rupees. The Amaravati Conservation Committee leaders in Sajjavaripalem of the Bapatla district have received a cheque for Rs 25 lakh from Kancharla Sudhakar of Kandukur in the Prakasam district. The NRI was joined by Repalle TDP MLA Anagani Satyaprasad. On that occasion, Sudhakar voiced his grief at the government's propagation of false information against farmers who had given up their lands for the sake of the state's future. He wanted the farmers of the Mahapadayatra to succeed.
