In a matter involving unlawful mining, the AP High Court today sent Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan notice. The High Court has given Vallabhaneni Vamsi a notice after receiving a petition claiming that Vamsi is engaged in illegal mining. The High Court has also served notices on representatives of the Department of Mines, the Central and State Governments, and Vamsi. Further hearing on this petition was postponed by the High Court for eight weeks. Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who contested for the TDP and won the Assembly election, is now a supporter of the YSRCP.
