They will select the probable winner of the byelection. Rajagopal Reddy continued, 'I have chosen to resign from the congress party as well as from the position of MLA.' Although he did not express a desire to join the BJP, his gesture suggests that he will do so. Prior to the 2023 assembly elections, a byelection in the Munugode constituency would be required due to Reddy's resignation.
