AP CM YS Jagan sets targets for works under various departments during the Spandana review meeting

Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, September 29,2022: A deadline of December 21 has been set by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, for the officials to complete the construction of houses and hand over keys to 5 lakh beneficiaries (3.50 Lakhs of Housing Corporation & 1.50 Lakhs of TIDCO houses), during the monthly Spandana meeting held at the camp office in Tadepalli.
 
The officials briefed the CM that 80% of the houses have been grounded (16.97 lakh houses) and 22,88,786 pattas out of the total 30,29,353 pattas have been distributed to the beneficiaries. To this, the CM has directed officials to expedite the work and take extra care in ensuring that basic necessities are also provided before the houses are handed over to the beneficiaries. He has also instructed officials to complete the audit process at the earliest, so that the distribution of houses wouldn't be a hassle.
 
In addition, the CM has also laid a cornerstone to the Bhu Hakku program and directed officials to complete the process of preparing watertight SOPs so that the program could achieve the purpose it was initiated for. The CM also spoke about the importance of the mobile magistrates for every mandal as they played a crucial role. The CM also noted that by the end of October, out of 17,000 Revenue villages, at least in 2,000 of these villages the stone planting process should be completed.
 
With the Kharif season is nearing an end, the e-cropping process has begun in the state. Considering this, the CM has said that one volunteer will be deployed in each RBK from October 1. The officials have briefed the CM about the process - crops sown post September 30 would not be considered under Khariff season but will be considered for Rabi. In the 1st stage of e-cropping Agriculture assistant would visit the area and click a picture, in phase 2, Village revenue officer and Agriculture assistant would authenticate through biometric process. CM Jagan said that by October 3, the process has to be completed. By October 10, the farmers affirmation has to be completed and by October 21, the social audit must be completed, according to officials. The final beneficiaries list will be published by October 25.

    To prompt a sense of motivation and responsibility, the CM has instructed for a system of marking collectors based on their efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) targets for the month. He said that the SDG targets are the benchmark to identify the performance of a collector. In a similar way, CM Jagan also said that after the Gadapa Gadapu program conducted by the government, the officials should take up the priority works within a month's time via village and ward secretariats.
