Former Minister Gollapalli Surya Rao Joins YSRCP

Amaravati: In a significant political shift in Andhra Pradesh, former minister Gollapalli Surya Rao joined the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) shortly after resigning from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). The joining ceremony took place in the presence of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Tadepalli camp office, where CM Jagan warmly welcomed Gollapalli into the fold, draping him with the party's shawl. CM Jagan called upon him to contribute towards the party's growth and development.

During the same event, P. Gannavaram TDP leader Nelapudi Stalin Babu also switched allegiances to join the YSRCP, receiving the party shawl from CM Jagan. The ceremony was attended by notable YSRCP figures, including regional coordinator Mithun Reddy and Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani, highlighting the event's significance within the party.
