Opening of kidney hospital in Uddanam by March 2023: Vidadala Rajini

Srikakulam, October 27: Health Minister Vidadala Rajini said on Wednesday that 200-bed kidney research centre-cum-hospital at Palasa will be opened in March 2023. Talking to reporters here, she stated that 80% works of Rs 700 crore project meant for supplying drinking water to 807 villages in Uddanam region were completed.

Rajini came down heavily on TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu for neglecting kidney patients in Uddanam during his previous 5-year tenure. Terming Chandrababu as BC traitor, she mentioned that he always used BCs for vote bank politics. “Chandrababu has no moral right to talk about BCs,” she slammed.

Animal Husbandry Minister Seediri Appalaraju faulted the previous TDP government for neglecting chronic kidney patients of Uddanam. “YSRCP government has taken measures to prevent people from being affected by kidney ailment in Uddanam,” he claimed and added that Rs 10,000 is being paid as pension to kidney patients undergoing dialysis treatment. Officials and YSRCP leaders were present.
