Kodali Nani offers prayers seeking deity’s blessings for three capitals

Krishna, October 6: Former minister and YSRCP MLA from Gudivada Kodali Nani and his family members offered special prayers at Sri Kondalamma Ammavari temple in Vemavaram village of Gudlavalleru mandal on the day of Dasara.

Talking to reporters, Kodali Nani said that he sought blessings of deity to the decision taken by the YSRCP government to set up three capitals for Andhra Pradesh. He informed that truncated state of Andhra Pradesh suffered by losing Hyderabad to Telangana because of bifurcation.

“There is a possibility of separate state demand within AP if the state government concentrates only on development of Amaravati as only capital,” he mentioned and said that his government decided to create three capitals to avoid such demands in the future.

At the same time, Nani faulted the Maha Padayatra undertaken by Amaravati farmers demanding Amaravati should only be AP capital. “People and even gods will never accept the agitation for Amaravati capital,” he said.
