Chandrababu makes an appeal to support AP flood victims

Amaravati, July 30: TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday made an appeal to donors, humanists, voluntary organisations, and political parties to support flood victims by donating rice, vegetables and fodder for the cattle.

In a press release, Chandrababu said that the YSRCP government had miserably failed to come to the rescue of flood-affected people. “NTR Trust to some extent has been extended assistance to flood victims,” he mentioned and added that there is an immediate need of dry grass for livestock.

“During my tour, I have personally saw damaged household items as mud and slush accumulated after receding of floods. People are surviving on the bare minimum foodgrain,” he said.

“Donors can personally donate dry grass or can utilise services of the TDP for sending to flood-hit villages,” he stated and personally urged the TDP leaders and workers, and NRIs to show their magnanimity in supporting people in dire straits.
