I am not a rubber stamp: TS governor

Chennai, April 20: “I am not a rubber stamp to sign on any paper as per the orders of the Chief Minister,” Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan stated. She further added that they developed enmity against her for not allotting MLC post to the person proposed by the Telangana CM.

She expressed ire that they spread rumours that the Centre would remove her from the post, when she went to Delhi to attend a wedding function. She clarified that she will never afraid for these baseless threatenings.

Stating that it’s a challenge to work with Telangana CM, the Governor commented that one can work anywhere after working in Telangana. “State will not develop if there are differences between CM and Governor. And Telangana is the best example for it,” she stated.

The Governor further said that even District Collector and SP were not accompanying her in her State tours. She assured that she never went against the Telangana government.

Governor Tamilisai challenged to show a single person, who can work better than her.
