People invoke blessings of Lord Siva on Maha Sivarathri

Hyderabad, Feb 17, 2015: On the eve of Mahasivarathri festival on Tuesday, all temples of Lord Siva are jam packed with the visiting devotees in both AP and Telangana. Devotees in large numbers have thronged the Siva temples at Kalahasti, Sri Sailam and Vijayawada in AP and at Kaleswaram and Vemulavada in Telangana. All temples of Lord Siva, small and big, are reverberating with the chanting of 'Hara Hara Mahadeva' and 'Om Namah Sivaya' by devotees. As part of the tradition, TTD priests have arrived at leading Siva temples in the two states and presented silk vastrams to the presiding deities.
