Telugu actress Jayasudha likely to join BJP

Hyderabad, August 10: If everything goes well, noted Telugu actress Jayasudha will join BJP on August 21, in the presence of Central Home Minister Amit Shah. Party joining committee head and Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender has been persuading the actor to join the party for some time. According to sources, he was succeeded after a meeting with Jayasudha on Tuesday.
 
Jayasudha contested as Congress candidate from Secunderabad constituency and won over TDP candidate Talasani Srinivasa Yadav. After separate Telangana State formed, she distanced from politics.
 
BJP reportedly decided to invite her into the party, thinking that she can influence Christian Minority group and she still has strong hold on Secunderabad constituency. In this context, Eatala met Jayasudha and she confirmed her joining the saffron party.
 
BJP has intensified its ‘Operation Akarsh’ in Telangana State and holding discussions with cine actors and retired IAS and IPS officers. Retired IPS officer and former DGP T Krishna Prasad is reportedly to join the party on August 21.
