Thief falls asleep during burglary, woken up by police

Gokavaram (East Godavari District) July 4: In a hilarious incident, a burglar dozed off in the house he was trying to rob and woken up by police. The incident took place in Gokavaram in EG district on Saturday night. 
 
Satti Venkata Reddy is a petrol bank manager in Gokavaram. After closing the petrol bunk on Saturday, Venkata Reddy reached home with all the cash of day’s transactions at about 10 pm. 
 
A thief Suribabu followed Venkata Reddy to his house thinking to steal the money. The thief entered the house behind Venkata Reddy and hid below the bed. He thought of robbing the money after Reddy sleeps. But Venkata Reddy was awake till 1 am as he was busy in calculations of the day’s transactions and cash count. Later, he slept.
 
Meanwhile, the thief, hidden under the bed, was dozed off.  
 
Venkata Reddy heard snoring sound in his room at about 4 am on Sunday morning and checked the entire house. He found Suribabu sleeping under his bed. He locked the house and informed the police.
 
Police woke up Suribabu and arrested him. During enquiry, Suribabu said that he knew that there will be cash of the day’s transactions with Venkata Reddy and came to rob him as he was in urgent need of money.
