Warrant against actress Jeevitha in another cheque bounce case

Hyderabad, Dec 16: The City Civil court here on Tuesday is reported to have issued a non-bailable warrants against actress-director and BJP spokesperson Jeevitha Rajashekar in a fresh cheque bounce case. It turns out to be a second cheque bounce cased filed against Jeevitha, who earlier faced a similar case. In the recent past, the Erram Manzil court had issued a non-bailable warrant when a cheque she had given to producer Shankar had bounced. Responding to a petition that was filed by a retired official of the Sales Tax Department, C Parandhama Reddy, in the Rs 25 lakh cheque bounce case, the court had earlier issued a NBW to Jeevitha asking her to appear before the court. However, she did not turn up in the court. On Tuesday, police visited her house with the warrant. However, as she was not at home, they returned.
