Govt will take up health survey, says KTR; discloses suffering from diabetes

Hyderabad: Minister for IT and Municipal Administration KTR disclosed an interesting point during his visit to Rajanna Sirisilla district on Saturday. He shared his personal health issue with media representatives. He revealed that he has been suffering from diabetes for the last 16 years. Hence, he made it clear that he would take many precautions to maintain good health.

Speaking about the 'Healthy Telangana',  he said that the health teams would collect information on BP, sugar, kidney and heart problems of the people of the state as well as record height and weight.

He further stated that 220 teams would visit door-to-door to test and upload the details online. In addition, the teams will conduct eye and blood tests at home. He said that once this kind of health profile is created, then it will be possible to go to any hospital and get better services as clear data will be available.
