AP student found dead at IIT-Madras

Chennai, Sep 22: Naram Nagendra Kumar Reddy (23), an M Tech second-year student of IIT-Madras, was found dead on Monday. His body was found hanging in the hostel room. It is said that Nagendra committed suicide but IIT officials have not yet confirmed the death as a case of suicide. Nagendra Kumar Reddy hails from Kadapa district in Andrha Pradesh. He took the extreme step after returning from his native village. He went to meet his parents on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi and returned to the hostel on Monday morning. The exact reason for his death was not known. Police seized his laptop. He did not leave behind any suicide note. He was recently selected by L&T company in campus recruitment drive.
