Faction war claims TDP activist in Kurnool
Hyderabad, Sept 21: In an ongoing faction war between supporters of former Union Congress party minister Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy and TDP leader and AP Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy, TDP activist Nagur Basha was brutally murdered. Several other sustained injuries in the faction-ridden Munimadugu village in Peapully mandal in Kurnool District on Monday. A supporter of a rival group is said to have hit Nagur Basha with a boulder killing him on the spot. According to reports, Nagur Basha was reported to be at loggerheads with a rival group, which is led by Sekhar and Ramanna. He is said to have accused them of shielding the culprits who are believed to have stolen his buffaloes six months ago. Supports of Kotla and KE were seen hurling stones and attacking each other with canes and swords. Before the police could contain the violence, Nagur Basha was killed. Immediately police rush security forces to contain the violence.
