Single theft in 14 years

Hyderabad, July 6: Uttar Pradesh once again came into news. But for a good reason. Uttar Pradesh State is famous for its lawlessness. The National Crime Records Bureau even named it as the 'worst state' in terms of law and order. But still, the State bags credit for only one registered crime in 14 years. According to reports, only one theft case was registered in Eta railway station. Two FIRs were registered in the railway station in 14 years span. One of these two was related to Delhi and was transferred there. The other one was a theft case. A case was filed in 2010 about the theft of a computer mouse. A senior officer then inquired into the issue and found out that a police person made the complaint as a victim, to check whether the police really works or not.
