Ramalinga Raju and associates being shifted to Charlapally jail
Hyderabad, April 9: After being slapped with a 7 year jail term, former Satyam Computer founder B Ramalinga Raju and his associates are now being shifted to Charlapally Prison by Hyderabad police. As Ramalinga Raju had already served a jail term under judicial custody from January 10, 2009 to August 19, 2010 and then again from November 10, 2010 to November 5, 2011, he will now be serving the remaining portion of his sentence period in Charlapally Prison. Ramalinga Raju and 10 other accused were involved in the multi-crore Satyam Computers account fraud and they were found to be guilty by the CBI judge B.V.L.N. Chakravarthy.
