Udayagiri MLA Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy held a special prayer ceremony for Lord Vinayaka in Marripadu, Nellore district. During the event, he offered 37,000 laddus as part of the ritual. The MLA has expressed his belief that Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP Chief and the former Chief Minister of the State, would emerge from his legal troubles unscathed, comparing it to a pearl that becomes clean after washing. Following the prayer ceremony, the laddus were transported to the idols of Lord Vinayaka in the Udayagiri Atmakuru Constituency, where they will be distributed among the people.
