Srikanth, the son of Minister Vishwarup, made a visit to attend a Gadapa Gadapaku program in Kamanagaru, located in the Amalapuram mandal of the Konaseema district. During his visit, local residents inquired about the purpose of his presence in the village. The villagers expressed their anger, claiming they had been wrongly accused in the Amalapuram riots case. They revealed that they had been unjustly held in jail for a period of three months. They strongly denied any involvement in the incident of a house burning that took place. The villagers questioned Srikanth about his intentions for visiting the village, especially in the context of legal cases that had been filed. In response, Srikanth attempted to clarify that his visit was intended to explain government programs to the villagers. However, the locals continued to voice their frustration. As tensions rose, authorities intervened and escorted Vishwarup's son away from the scene.
