Hyderabad witnessed a significant development as the Naini Narasimha Reddy Bridge, named after the former home minister, was officially opened by municipal administration and urban development minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday. This 2.25-kilometer-long bridge, comprising four lanes, has been built at an approximate cost of Rs 450 crore. Its inauguration aims to tackle traffic problems and provide relief from congestion issues in the region. KT Rama Rao, often referred to as KTR, shared that the bridge's name was chosen at the request of Musheerabad MLA M Gopal and following the guidance of chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Highlighting the city's aspirations for international growth, KTR also revealed plans to enhance the development of Indira Park, Lower Tank Bund, and Upper Tank Bund. The bridge's presence is expected to greatly ease traffic at key points such as VST Junction, RTC Cross Roads, and Indira Park Cross Road. The road connected by this steel bridge sees a daily movement of around
