Revolutionary folk singer Gaddar received a heartfelt and emotional farewell on Monday as thousands gathered to pay their last respects. Mourners reached his residence at Alwal, and many more assembled at the funeral venue. Crowds lined up to catch a final glimpse of the popular balladeer, who was laid to rest according to Buddhist rituals. Chants of "Gaddar Amar Rahe" filled the air as admirers, supporters, followers, and friends thronged the place. The vehicle carrying Gaddar's body was accompanied by thousands as it made its way from LB Nagar Stadium to the school ground where the last rites were performed. Emotions ran high, and some mourners were unable to reach the funeral venue due to the large crowd. People gathered all along the road leading to Alwal to bid farewell to Gaddar, who was laid to rest with State honors.
