Uttar Pradesh: In the Lanka area of Varanasi, a vegetable seller has taken a unique approach to deal with the soaring tomato prices and prevent aggressive haggling among buyers. He has employed two bouncers to maintain order and discourage confrontations at his tomato cart. The recent surge in tomato prices has made them a luxury item across the country. Ajay Fauji, a Samajwadi Party worker, gained attention earlier when he celebrated the birthday of Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav by cutting a cake in the shape of a tomato in Varanasi. Fauji explained his decision to hire bouncers, stating, "I noticed frequent arguments among people over the price of tomatoes. Even customers at my shop would try to negotiate aggressively. To put an end to these constant disputes, I decided to employ bouncers in uniform at my cart."
