In a recent incident at Gadapa Gadapaku Program, Minister Gudivada Amarnath was met with strong public dissent. Four years after his electoral victory, local women confronted the minister, questioning if he had remembered the village and its problems during his term. As he laid the foundation stone for a new canal in New Talarivanipalem, part of the Anakapalli Mandal, he was faced with a barrage of queries. The questioning took place during the official unveiling of the commemorative plaque for the new project. Some women attempted to personally approach the minister with their grievances but were intercepted by the police force. The local populace expressed their discontent, focusing on poor road conditions and inadequate drainage systems. Despite these ongoing infrastructural issues, the minister was busy initiating new projects. Adding to the controversy, the plaque inaugurated by Minister Amarnath to mark the beginning of the canal construction was destroyed by unidentified individuals within hours of its unveiling.
