A Delhi local, named Shashank Manu, has set a new Guinness World Record. He managed to visit all 286 metro stations in Delhi in the shortest amount of time. Shashank, who works as a freelance researcher, completed this task in less than 15 hours, 23 minutes in April 2021. He used a one-day tourist pass for his travel. He started his journey from a station on the blue line at 5 in the morning and finished at a station on the green line at 8:30 in the evening. To accomplish this feat, Shashank had to adhere to specific rules. These included filming a continuous video, noting the opening and closing times of the metro doors, taking pictures at every station, and getting signatures from people at the stations on a receipt. Additionally, two independent witnesses were required to accompany him throughout his journey.
