N Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has raised concerns about illegal sand mining in the lands belonging to Dalits in Chinchinada village, West Godavari district. In a letter addressed to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu alleged that representatives of the YSRCP were involved in illegal sand mining activities, violating regulations. He further highlighted that Dalit protestors were attacked and injured, demanding severe punishment for the assailants. Chandrababu emphasized that the Dalits of Chinchinada village, located in the Yelamanchili mandal, have been cultivating assigned lands for the past 60 years in Elephantvanilanka village.
