Amaravati: TDP leader and former minister of Andhra Pradesh Devineni Uma made strong comments against YSRCP. Speaking to the media, Uma alleged that the YCP leaders secured their election victories by appealing to voters for a chance to govern. Uma pointed out that TDP had implemented various schemes, including financial aid under the name of Pasupu Kumkuma, aimed at benefiting women in the state. However, despite their efforts, the party faced defeat in the elections. Furthermore, Uma claimed that YSRCP leaders resorted to holding voters' legs and seeking sympathy votes to gain an advantage in the polls. In addition to these allegations, Uma criticized the alleged exploitation carried out by YCP leaders in Mylavaram and Nandigama. Specifically, he accused a father and son duo of engaging in illegal sand mining activities in Mylavaram and Jaggaiahpet, leading to the monthly transfer of a staggering amount, Rs. 7 crores, to MLAs.
