Bengaluru: Parakala Vangamayi, the daughter of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, exchanged wedding vows with Prateek in a simple and traditional ceremony held at their residence in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Embracing the rich traditions of their Brahmin culture, the wedding ceremony adhered to customary rituals. Distinguished seers from Udupi Adamaru Mutt graced the occasion, bestowing their blessings upon the newly married couple. Vangamayi, known for her association with the Books and Culture section of Mint Lounge's features department, has an impressive background. She previously worked as a features writer for The Hindu and holds a master's degree in Journalism from the prestigious Northwestern Medill School of Journalism.
