In a shocking incident, a fraudster posing as a doctor took advantage of an elderly woman's trust and stole her precious golden ornaments. The deceptive act unfolded during a train journey when the imposter struck up a conversation with the unsuspecting woman, falsely claiming to be a doctor at NIMS. Exploiting her vulnerability, he inquired about her health issues and promised to cure her ailments. Upon disembarking from the train, the deceitful imposter accompanied the elderly woman to a nearby lodge. Seizing the opportune moment, he administered some medication to her and instructed her to consume it. Tragically, the elderly woman lost consciousness shortly after ingesting the substance. Seizing the opportunity, the fraudster callously removed the woman's valuable golden ornaments. When the victim regained consciousness, she immediately noticed the absence of her gold chain and realized she had been deceived. Wasting no time, she lodged a formal complaint at the Gopalapuram police station in Secunderabad, seeking justice for the theft.
