Aurangabad: In a shocking incident, three unidentified criminals stormed into a jewellery shop located in Satyendra Nagar under the jurisdiction of the Aurangabad town police station area, Bihar on Tuesday. Armed with a gun, they looted jewellery valued at Rs 50 lakh, along with Rs 50,000 in cash. During the robbery attempt, the criminals mercilessly assaulted the shopkeeper, Vikas Soni, for resisting their nefarious act. Recalling the incident, Vikas stated that he was attending to potential customers at his establishment, Durga Jewellers, around 2 pm when three culprits arrived on a motorcycle. "They had concealed their identities by covering their faces with cloth. As soon as they entered the shop, they brandished their pistol and proceeded to loot all the gold, silver ornaments, and the cash present on the counter," he narrated.
