Krishna: In a courageous act, a female Village Revenue Officer (VRO) fearlessly intercepted lorries engaged in the unlawful transportation of soil. Upon receiving information from the local residents about the illegal soil transportation in the Pasumarru area of Pamarru mandal, Krishna district, VRO Meena Maddali sprang into action. Without a second thought, she took her ten-month-old baby along and rode her two-wheeler to the location. Upon reaching Kothur, she successfully halted the unloading of soil by the vehicles. Two tippers were impounded and subsequently taken to the Tehsildar's office. After paying a fine, the owners reclaimed their vehicles and left.
