Bengaluru: A shocking incident unfolded in Bengaluru as a 23-year-old woman was allegedly strangled by her former live-in partner on Monday. The distressing event came to light on Tuesday when the victim's roommate returned to their apartment. The victim, identified as Akanksha and hailing from Godavarikhani, had been employed with a private firm in Bengaluru. The suspect, identified as Arpit, a 27-year-old native of Delhi and an employee at the global ed-tech company Byju's, has been implicated in the case. The Jeevan Bheema Nagar police in Bengaluru have filed a murder case in connection with the incident. As of now, Arpit remains at large and is yet to be apprehended. According to police sources, Akanksha and Arpit had met four years ago while working at Byju's.
