Kurnool: After the onset of the monsoon drizzles, farmers usually prepare for cultivation. However, in certain parts of the Kurnool district, a unique phenomenon occurs where people engage in diamond hunting following the monsoon showers. This annual tradition is prevalent in many districts of Rayalaseema, particularly in the surrounding areas of Vajrakarur, where some individuals transition from being farmers to overnight millionaires.
