Hyderabad: A distressing incident unfolded in the city when a man, who had previously made multiple threats to end his life under the influence of alcohol, tragically followed through on his intentions. Ashok (35), a welding worker from Komatibasti, had been struggling with his work and had developed a habit of consuming alcohol over the past few years. He relied on borrowing money from his wife's relatives in SR Nagar to support his drinking habit. Disturbingly, he frequently resorted to threatening suicide if his demands for money were not met. Just six months ago, Ashok's younger brother Abhilash intervened and saved him when he made a similar threat. However, on Monday, without informing anyone, Ashok under the influence of alcohol jumped off from the Balanagar bridge, tragically ending his life.
