Minister Usha Sri Charan showcased her vibrant spirit by dancing alongside local tribals during a visit to Bommaganipalli in the Brahmasamudram mandal of Anantapur district. The minister's visit was marked by a heartwarming act of generosity from local leader Govinda Reddy, who selflessly donated 2 acres of land to 70 tribal women in Vankatanda. Each woman received 2 cents of land after the necessary registration procedures were completed. In recognition of Govinda Reddy's benevolent deed, the colony was renamed as Patil Govinda Reddy Colony, serving as a tribute to his late father. Minister Usha Sri Charan graced the occasion as the chief guest during the plaque unveiling ceremony. Expressing her admiration for the noble act, Minister Usha Sri Charan commended the initiative, emphasizing the significance of such land donations for the upliftment of the backward tribal communities. She acknowledged the collective effort of Govinda Reddy and the local community in promoting social welfare and supporting marginalized sections of society.
