In a significant development following the recent train accident in Odisha, the Indian Railways has announced that compensation will be provided to all those affected by the tragedy, including ticketless passengers. This decision, based on a previous judgment of the Supreme Court, aims to ensure that all victims receive appropriate support and assistance. Railway spokesperson Amitabh Sharma confirmed the news on Sunday, emphasizing that regardless of whether passengers had a valid ticket or not, they would be eligible for compensation.
