The alarming rise in stray dog incidents has instilled fear among residents, hindering their ability to venture outdoors. Regardless of age or size, pedestrians find themselves confronted by barking stray dogs while walking alone on the streets. Recently, a ten-year-old boy fell victim to a stray dog attack in Sriramnagar, under the Suraram area of Medchal district. The incident has caused panic after the release of CCTV footage capturing the harrowing event. According to the sources, the boy was playing in front of his house when a stray dog suddenly lunged at him. Despite his attempts to escape, the relentless dog repeatedly pounced and bit him.
