Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Dharmendra Pradhan paid a visit to the injured victims currently receiving treatment at Soro Hospital in the wake of the tragic train accident in Odisha. During their visit, the ministers inquired about the progress of the victims' medical treatment, engaging with doctors to gather crucial details. Expressing concern for the well-being of the injured, the ministers urged the doctors to ensure the provision of enhanced medical support. Their presence aimed to provide reassurance to the victims and their families while demonstrating the government's commitment to their recovery. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya also arrived in Odisha to review the latest situation regarding medical assistance provided to the injured. With over 1,000 individuals receiving treatment, Mandaviya emphasized the importance of comprehensive care for those affected by the accident. He further revealed that more than 100 critically injured patients have been transferred to renowned hospitals, including AIIMS in Delhi, to receive specialized treatment from expert doctors.
